Hello All, I'm a new member here but I've lurked for some time now. I had a 17 e300 that was totaled from driving down a flooded road (hydro locked). I didn't have a lot of time with my rental after the car was totaled and I found a 2022 e350 on the lot that had pretty much all of the options I wanted, except for one- Dashcam. It seems silly that it wasn't included on this one, as it does have the augmented video option. I would really like to have a dashcam and was wondering if there's any type of dashcam that integrates with the cars existing cameras, and if not what any of you might recommend as an aftermarket option. Id like to have a front and rear facing, and I just don't want some silly looking device cluttering up the dash, perhaps one that's low profile and inconspicuous. I've included the build sheet for reference, thanks in advance for any insight!

 

thinkware U1000 or blackvue 900 (i have the U1000)
not extremely low profile but ok
very reliable cameras with good image, but get ready to fork out around 500 euros
there's no system that can tap into the existing cameras, unless in your country you can get the mercedes integrated dashcam
(however, this is only a front cam and you have to switch it on manually at each drive)
