Anyone have any idea if this is dye transfer from a belt or whether this is the dye on my seat coming off? I've read the posts on blue jean dye transfer, but this is dark red. I cannot remove it with gentle cleaners, so am wondering if it's the dye coming off the seat. I also do not have red belts. I've only got 4,000 miles on the car and am awaiting guidance from the dealer.

I originally posted about blue dye on my passenger seat, which I think was from a pair of blue jeans - but not sure.
I worked and worked to try to get it off, but without success - well actually it was better but there was still dye on the seat.. Then in a couple of weeks the dye just disappeared never to return and my seat looks like new!
Never figured out where the dye came from or how it disappeared.

Can you please take a photo with a wider view, showing the entire seat back and seat cushion?

An even wider view would be more helpful. Is this a front or rear seat? Passenger or driver seat?
