Overhead Control Panel fault

"OCP - Overhead Control Panel 1 problems exist: B11F697 The fan of the interior temperature sensor has a malfunction. The stored function is restricted"
Now, I do notice that when i drive along and the car gets to temp (engine and interior) it can start going from warm to feeling cold. Even if you step the temp up 1c or 2c it goes warm for a couple of mins and then cooler. If you stop and switch off then when you restart it seems to maintain heat longer. So there is clearly an issue somewhere. Therefore, can any of you lovely people of this forum translate the above message into a practical thing I need to do to fix it. I have tried to clear it (all of the other fault codes (stored - none were current) were erased and didn't return) but it won't and it says that this is a STORED and CURRENT code.
Car is an E220d (213.204) MY18 Estate.

i don’t suppose you have the instructions for how to remove the OHC (ideally I don’t want to break clips using a trial and error method)!

I’m having the same code (photo attached) where can I find one of those diagrams? I tried to pin pint the sound and it seems as it is coming from the A piller / dashboard corner of the left hand driver side
how can I fix or where do I blow air?
