E350 2022, issues with air conditioner
Hi friends,
I have a 10-month old E350 2022, in Florida (yes, we have now 85 degrees) and for the last 3 months I have had an random issue with the air conditioning system. several times, the AC went to what I describe like an "idle" while driving. Either highway or streets.
Dealer's workshop find nothing wrong with the AC. Last time they told me that reset the system completely. Now, a month later, I had the same issue for the third time. I am tempted to bring the car to an independent AC workshop, but that may cost me...
any recommendations?

- Auto function in auto
- sync or no sync is the same
- recirculating or not is the same
- air flow is very low, temperature, warm
- If I manually set the temperature down, even all the way, nothing changes
- If I manually set the fan to higher speed, I have more flow, but the temperature remains the same, warm.
- many combinations, on/off, auto or no auto, etc. nothing
- I switch the car off and on, and the AC works normally

I wouldnt use auto. I would set the temp as you like and the vent setting only. I have sync on so the overall temp of the car is the same. That would be my setting recommendation. The mechanical issue could be several temperature sensors or thermostat's: Outside, inside and engine coolant. If any of those go bad it would throw off a/c temperature. It could tell the car its cold inside and cut the a/c compressor. Also could be a/c compressor related. . Or if the compressor is going bad then it could maybe be engaged by the belt but the compressor isnt engaged or compression isnt being made. Keep bringing it back to the dealer. Ive had to bring my car in 3 times to finally get the issue resolved. They will eventually figure it out......Hopefully lol
