2023 E450 4matic sedan

How do I use gesture control?

Like I can’t get it working. Is there any condition to meet? I watched youtube and followed it. Just does not work. I dunno if there’s on/off function or not.

are you sure this was a video on the E class? Ive never heard of the E class having gesture control, only the new S class

Yes. Because vehicle delivery specialist showed me lmao. I found the problem. It was the apple carplay that prohibits such function. I don’t know other trims but 2023 E450 has the function.

I am pretty sure it is a MBUX thing. My 21 E450 has it. It works ok for me but yes, AA/ACP messes it up - but my map lights sometimes seem to have a mind of their own
