I am after some help for a part number for a wiring loom/connector. I have just pruchased a new rear cover on the centre console and the new (used) item comes with double USB connectors where the "ashtray" bit was. It has the part number A21382077601. There is clearly a four pin connector need to link this with the head unit (my car has full COMMAND) - grateful for a part number please.

This A21382077601 does not appear to be any available spare part.

So (in UK) from Jan 19 build (pre facelift) the rear ashtray was replaced with a twin usb power outlet s as well as the “cigarette lighter” 12v socket. This twin usb outlet has a four pin plug on the back to connect to a 12v supply of power and i am interested in that wiring harness and where it plugs in 🤔.

I can find the twin USB port part and the wiring harness and connector pins but the connector housing appears to be hidden. Must be there with the parts but after a quick search I just did not find any connector housings separate from the wiring.

OK - thank you. Can you send me a relevent wiring diagram as I might be able to self make a suitable solution if I know how which of the four pins on the back of the USB module do what?

There seem to be different USB options but I guess it is U82 here:



Wiring is only for power and ground, no data pins. I think there was an option with media capability too.

I found the correct part number should be A2136806506 and ordered the part but it does not come with wire harness..
Does anyone has any luck making it work or found the part number for the wire or connector?

A2138207701 should be the part number for the USB unit itself.

The harness could be integrated to some of the cabin harnesses, I did not check but the connector housing was the part we were really after.

Are the photos from your parts? If yes, could you read the connector housing part number?

Hi, thanks for reply. The picture was from internet so I do not have the part number.

But good news is I happened to have a 4p connector A0385451228 taken from my previous car that actually fits if I cut the side wing off.



For the sake of truth, I continued searching and heard from a shop that the picture below is the OEM wire that corrects the rear USB to front SAM, but will require a lot more work to install...

So I think I'll just use the connector I have and wire it to the cigarette power wire next to it. Thanks for help !
