Unhappy W213 Headlight replacement U117B00

Hi, I've replaced right headlight and module in my w213 2017, and after unit programming and scn coding with LAUNCH X-431 the headlight won't work there are only 2 LED stripes working and nothing else. Fault code: U117B00

What was your solution to this? I have the same issue right now using the same scan tool. Replaced left headlight with a used light and new module.

From my experience, this doesn’t look like a wiring problem since the DRLs are working. Error U117B00 usually means the LED control unit isn’t communicating correctly or the coding doesn’t match the vehicle configuration. It might be worth checking compatibility between the headlight and the PXL module you installed. This is the PXL2 Plus module I’ve used before with success, but it might not be suitable for every headlight version: https://xenons4u.co.uk/pxl2-plus-a20...ol-module.html If the part is correct, you may still need proper SCN coding with Xentry, as Launch doesn’t always complete that step fully.

An 15$ Openport interface and a decent Windows 11 laptop will do the job in a few minutes.

Launch/Autel make SCN/Programming online on their data base, without any logic or connection with individual car, not to mention HW and SW numbers of the ECU.
