Wiper Blades
So what are you using and where to get them? I'd like to keep OEM unless there's something of better quality.

I have just installed a pair of HRSNO wiper blades from Amazon that fit perfectly. So far so good. Do not know how long they will last.
Keep in mind that the fitting for wiper blades, 22" and 24" is not standard and not all but only a few 24" and 22" blades will fit. This is the cheapest set of blades I have found anywhere that fits an E Class, 2017 on.
These blades perfectly fit my 2019 E450 even though they are advertised for E53 AMG.

Went to Rockauto, put in 2019 E450 Mercedes and no wiper blades came up.
Searched for Bosch A242S and nothing came up.
Can you post the like to your Bosch wiper blades on RockAuto?
Thanks.

So, do you have a specific model AND size I should be getting for my car? I will not, under any circumstance use the dealer -- after they just charged me $125 (which is about a half hour labor I think) for the technician, in his own words, to "tighten up the door screw." No grease, no re-hanging the door, nothing but tightening. I say it took 7 seconds. OK, I'll give him 5 minutes. But for this to no be covered by warranty, or be included as a courtesy to them finding a loose screw (because I told them about it and there was service advisory notice on it as well) -- that's pure nickel and dime BS. So, no more with that dealer!
Thanks in advance for the advice on the new windshield wipers!

How are the HRSNO wipers long term now that you had them for a while? They are currently on sale at Amazon for $15 a pair, almost sounds too good to be true.
Thank you.

So far no shuddering which happened with the Bosch after about 6 months.
The Bosch were excellent for about 6/8 months but then had to be replaced. I expect longer out of this pair.

My experience with letting it cover the front windshield has not been good. I think the blades need a certain amount of friction to sweep away the rain.
Try Rain-X on the a small portion of the passenger side to see how it works before putting in on the entire windshield.

I used the Rain-X spray on my Rav4, along with the Rain-X wiper blades, and they worked great. Didn't realize there could be a potential issue, but it makes sense. Thanks again!

I am lucky to get 12 months out of a set.
