rain censor and came board module is hot, is it normal?
Hi, there, I installed a fitcamx dash cam. For installation, need to remove the plastic bracket (pic2), there are two modules, one is steel packed camera module and one is the blue rain censor, I found the camera model is really hot that barely can touch and even feel the heat from the outside of windshield (pic1). Is this normal or should I pop in for a check, it is fairly new car, two months old....
Hey there, I also have the Fitcamx installed on my GLC (for about six months) and have also noticed it gets pretty hot. I believe this is “normal” for the Fitcamx, as it still works perfectly and have had no issues with the car since installing it. Hope that helps!
