No Brakes-Leaking Fluid in rear

i have a 2020 E350 with approx 39k on the car.

Today i’m driving and notice I can’t stop. My brake pedal falls to the floor. Luckily I was able to roll into a side street. I get out open hood Brake Fluid is empty/ dry!

Look at rear wheel and fluid everywhere.

What would cause this I would have been dead had I got on the highway a few seconds later.

Car towed to dealer- won’t be seen until Monday. This has me uneasy. Thanks for any input.

LEAK in rear.
Possible leakpoints are anywhere there is a connection or a line itself:
Hose into caliper
Caliper
Caliper bleed screw
Hard lines.

Have to get it towed and inspected, repaired and might as well flush.
ALso have other 3 corners checked for potential of same issue.

Did your have any brake work done? Such as the dealer replacing the brake fluids?

The guy who bled the brakes didn’t tighten the bleed screw(s).

Sounds like the incident did not appear immediately after leaving a workshop. There should have been a low brake fluid warning before brakes were gone if the leak was "decent". Different if a a pipe or the bleed screw got detached.

Older models (211, 212 on salty roads) are prone to corrosion causing a leak at the rear, cannot be the case here.

I agree:

Keep in mind the warranty is 4 years (not 5) or 50,000 miles which ever comes first.
