2019 E63 - Auto Trunk Issue
Hi all, on my 2019 E63 trunk will not close using the buttons inside the trunk. Additionally, when manually trying to close, the trunk will "bounce" and not latch. Only will latch closed if you hold closed for 2-3 seconds. Additionally, the trunk will open (with key, handle, or interior latch), but only an inch or two before having to open fully manually. Also, the lock button in the trunk works, so all seems to be connected, just the close function seems to be turned of or needs to be reset.
This has happened after a battery change for the car done at the dealer. In googling it appears to be a somewhat normal problem when a battery is changed out and there are some forums than indicate having to pull a fuse to reset, but I've had trouble finding the actual solution. I'm under the impression that when the dealer changed out the battery they must not have followed every step to reset all things. I would have them fix....but actually talking to the service advisor is challenging and not helpful. Or at least seems harder than finding solution myself.
So, anyhow, does anyone know how to fix?

My '18 E300 trunk lid remembers open/close positions.
To restrict the opening hold the lid in position while it is opening. From that point on, the lid will only open to that position.
To reverse the setting I open the trunk, then manually force the lid to its full open position. From that point on, the lid will fully open.

Tried this, it's not the issue unfortunately.
