Ambient lighting issue
Hello all,
I noticed after i finished work last night that the ambient lighting in my 2020 E300d coupe wasnt working properly. Basically the led strip that runs across the dash and centre console, and the passenger door strip no longer illuminates. However the drivers door strip section and the air vent lights are still working.
Does anyone know what could be the cause of this issue? The car is typically out of warranty so I begrudge paying mercedes a fortune to diagnose and repair for what is an aesthetic feature!

As you can see here the only strip working is the drivers door, also both footwell lighting is also not working

Well i had kinda a similar problem it had to be the wires under the glove box, after i did my service and they changed my cabin filter they forgot to put back the leg light cable. To be able to remove the cabin filter you have to remove the temprature sensor and the leg light. (leg light is also connected somehow with the ambiet light)
after that my light came back on. if that is the case for you too is very simple to do yourself, you only need a torx hex key. or just check videos on youtube how to change cabin filter on your mercedes and check the wires
