parking camera fault - known issue?
E300, camera turns on for a millisecond then goes out, as in this video:
Is this something that could be fixed without going to the dealer, like by replacing the camera?

If you want to fix the actual cause of the issue, go to a MB dealer or an indy shop that has MB diagnostic capabilities.

I've seen posts about the rear view camera cover misbehaving, another possible issue in addition to the ones mentioned above. Have you tried the camera cleaning mode, does it work?
