Blinking Gas Light
I having a blinking gaslight and loose gas cap warning after i start my 2018 E400 coupe. When i run scan it comes back as small Evap leak. After replacing the gas cap with new one, the issues continues. Anyone knows what going on?

@DMVs_W213 Did you end up getting this issue solved? I'm assuming the purge valve solenoid could be a cause?

I am still dealing with this p0442 code and the flashing gas light warning. I also noticed that, what I think is the evap purge valve in the engine bay (driver's side front just behind the radiator support beside the air intake snorkel), is sometimes quite loud with its incessant clicking.
Appears that this part is quite affordable from OE providers like Bosch and not that bad from Mercedes either ($75 ish). I'm considering replacing the part but wanted to check with the brain trust here to see if this item might be responsible for the small evap leak fault?

I ended up replacing this purge valve today and so far, fault code has not returned. My symptoms were the flashing fuel light, aesssge about loose fual cap, my pops and gurgles were deactivated in sport+, and fault code p0442 dtc.
The old purge valve, I could blow through slightly, which validated that it was leaking and likely source of my issues. The new one (Mercedes brand, purchased through Advance Auto) I could not blow through.
I'll update it any symptoms come back but fingers crossed!
