I’m installing one of those dynamic LED hood lights and this one has dynamic amber blinkers. I searched for the past 2 hours and cannot find any info on which color wire coming out of the pigtail/harness is for the positive turn signal? Anyone?

When I replaced my rear bumper reflectors with blacked out lenses and dynamic lights inside, the turn signal wires were different colors for left and right side which was odd to me. I got it done though.

Any help is appreciated!

 

Why not use a voltage meter at the connector?

 

If I had one handy, I would have. You mean pull the grey connector end of the plug out of the plug itself and test the metal parts inside?

 

Okay, I purchased a tester. This is the plug I’m testing, but it has to be wrong (see pics).. no matter what, I get the same results every time I test each part. Also, the light should blink in sync with the turn signal when I have the correct circuit, right?

I think I’m testing the wrong plug… help! 🤯
