What oil ?
Hello
I have a W213 E220D OM654 RWD 2017 from Sweden. I just bought the car and was planning to do an oil service, what oil does Mercedes recommend and so on ? What oil can be used ?
I have 0W 20 in my basement. Will that be good ?
And yes before anyone says, I have looked in the manual and online. Could not find anything….

Get your owners manual at www.manualslib.com. In the online 2017 E Class Owners Manual there is a link to bevo.mercedes-benz.com. Clicking on a choice there takes you to Mercedes-Benz Operating Fluids where you'll find what you need. Pay close attention to the oil spec. Going by oil weight is not enough.

S213 E220d AMG line
You need MB 229.52 spec oil,(I think it is best to go for original Mercedes-Benz oil, especially if you are going to change the oil after more than 15k km intervals), and the OM654 has a capacity of 6,3-6,5 liters. About oil viscosity I think you need to adapt to the temperature in Sweden, which is probably much lower than in Eastern Europe. For you I think 0w30 would be fine, but it is best to consult an oil viscosity catalogue and adapt for cold weather. Perhaps even 0w20 is ok, but must have MB 229.52 spec.
