This is for a 2017 E43 AMG but I figured the systems are the same as the normal W213 so I would post here.
Any idea why the one overhead camera view has a giant line going through the car?
That is normal from what I remembered, it is to distinguish the left mirror camera and right mirror camera. The side view's purpose is for you to know if you are parked within the two lines in a parking spot and/or how close are you in the middle of the two lines, if the vehicle is closer to the left you will see it and you will clearly see you are way from the line on the right. If the bars aren't there it will be confusing.
Yup it is normal, I just confirmed for you on my family member's C238 E, and it has the exact same bars with the 360 camera side view. Like I said, if they weren't there, it would had been confusing.
