2017 E class wagon suspension dropping
When I first dropped off the car he tested everything for leaks and wasn’t able to find anything. He told me he even recalibrated the suspension. He than parked the car somewhere for almost 2 full days (probably less than 48 hours) and called me to come pick up the car because he checked everything and even after leaving it with 2 days he hasn’t measured a drop whatsoever, and he doesn’t want to change the boots if they’re not the issue and I come back again 3 days later.
I’m considering taking it to a dealership for a check but I worry oh how untrusted dealerships are that they’ll tell me more stuff is broken in the car than there really is. I’ve had this experience with them before.
Im curious if anyone else have had a similar experience and how they solved it?!
Important facts about the car:
1- VIN: WDDZH6GB4HA162560
2- Car only has air suspension in the rear
3- I removed an ECU tune for a emission inspection recently and tuned it back on (not sure if it’s related but the timing is sus)
4- As you can see between 1-24 hours no drop whatsoever occurs but than 24-48 drop occurs.
