MB-Tex Seats - Color Transfer

MB-Tex Seats - Color Transfer
Year old 350E with Macchiato Beige MB-Tex seats. Noticed at on door side of drivers seat/seat back (waist high) the MB-Tex is presumably picking up the denim color from my jeans - and not new jeans. A light blue tint on the outside seat back bolster and to a lesser degree the outside seat, where I'd slide in/out. Anyone else seen this? I'm using Meguiar's leather/vinyl clearer/detailer with some success.

It's normal for jeans to transfer color. Mine do as well on the Tonka Brown Nappa leather. I clean them with leather cleaner every few months and it looks good as new. Only the driver seat gets this as the other seats are not used nearly as much.

There actually is a thread on this: exact same thing happened to me on the passenger seat. I also have the Macchiato Beige MB-Tex seats. Tried cleaning it and it helped. Never figured out what pair of jeans caused the transfer. Then a few weeks later it was gone, never to appear again - it just went away. That was six years ago. Kinda like the warning lights on the dash that are here one day and gone the next.
Sorry cannot be more help, but I suspect one day, the stain will just be gone.
