Driver’s Assistance Display on Progressive Gauge Cluster

Saw this in a review video of the E-class when it first came out. How do I change the center dial of the progressive gauge to look like the image below? It almost looks 3D. My 2020 doesn’t have these menu options listed on this 2017 model. Seems kind of backwards for them to take it off options on later models.

It might have a bit more depth graphically but it definitely doesn't have any of the 3D technology like the new S-class (and maybe other newer MBs) have. I have it on my 2017 E43, but I believe it is functionally useless because I don't have the Premium 3 package that includes lane keep assist, DISTRONIC, or any other driving assists. It's just one stagnant image of the hood and two lane lines. And I don't prefer losing my coolant temp. gauge (as doctored as it is) to it.

edit: To answer your question, though, once you switch into the progressive display style, it should be under the "right dial" menu. That's the same menu that shows up when you press the left home button to bring up your phone, media, navi, menu selector in the gauge cluster. But I believe my gauge cluster firmware is older than everybody else's. I don't have the option to select the left, middle, right quadrants of the display using the touchpad.

It’s the distronic feature, where the car drives itself. What you’re seeing is an image if there’s another vehicle in front of you and depending upon the distance of the vehicle. My 2017 P3 optioned E300 has it. Here is a photo with classic mode, my sport and progressive has it on the right hand side

I have the screen as pictured in the video but I do not have p3 package nor distronic.

Your gauge cluster faces look a bit different compared to mine. And that TPMS display looks really nice. Damn. I really want my gauge cluster updated now.

Edit: How do you have 200MPH on your dash? Have you had your car custom-coded with E63 faces?

Correct, it’s custom coded with E63 gauges and MPH upgraded to 200 MPH.

Oh got it.

I played around with that screen today when I realized that it shows me my blind spot warnings. So I do have at least one thing that screen would show despite not having P3.
