Do you have Standby Mode?
I plan on being away for 2-3 months, and I'm expecting to leave my 2021 All-Terrain Wagon at home. With this amount of time, it would probably kill my battery. I remember on my 2019 A-Class and 2022 C-Class there was a Standby Mode for long trips. However, I don't see this option at all on my wagon. It's even in my wagon's manual, but when I put the car in the exact configuration needed to activate it, the option is still missing under Settings > Vehicle.
Anyone missing this? What are some other options so I don't come home to a dead battery?

I've never found what determines if a model has the Standby mode. It seems almost arbitrary, because all MBs now have telematics and online connectivity that is active and drains the battery when the car is parked, so the purpose of the Standby mode is to turn all of that off if you plan to store the car for an extended period. The caveat is that it also turns off the car alarm, as that is also a source of battery drain, so it's only really a good idea to use Standby mode if the car is parked in a secure location.
Short of having the Standby mode, your only other option is to hook it up to a trickle charger while you are away. That's what I had to do with my previous car when I was away for a couple of months. Not sure if it was necessary, but better safe than sorry. If you don't hook it up to a trickle charger and the battery gets low, you will get a notification on your phone, so you could notify somebody back home to go drive the car for a bit or hook it up to a trickle charger if that's an option. Either way, at a minimum I would make sure the battery is actually fully charged before you leave.

I have standby mode on my 2018 E400 wagon and have used it several times. Did you go to "Vehicle Settings" and then "Standby Mode?"
