Spark Plugs -- which one is right
Hi Folks,
Looking to do the 50k interval plugs myself and let the dealer handle uglier things -- FCP Euro and Mercedes parts lists have 2 different plugs listed for my M276 / 2020 E450 wagon - 2701590600 and 0041598103.
Which ones are correct? the 8103 is nearly twice as much ($38 vs $20), so I'm guessing that's the one

Anyone know the difference?

I DIY my GLC43 last year, from the factory the spark plugs were NGK with Mercedes symbol printed on them, got replacements from dealer for $14 each, also were NGK with Mercedes logo, not Bosch. Supposedly with the Mercedes logo printed on them they're indexed or threaded to face the correct direction when torqued properly.

Thanks Ua549. The price at Pelican is within $1 or so for all three. It's the outlier 0041598103 that has me curious. Perhaps it is hand-delivered by elves in a soft velvet display case suitable for hanging as art.
taphil - I'm guessing the dealer will have the $19 dollar flavor, I go through FCP Euro for the lifetime replacement so I can do them again at 75k, 100k, ....

My plugs looked clean at 60k miles, gas 95% from Costco.
Changing the plugs often risks breaking the connector for the ignition coils. Beware, and look at my previous post about it.

Following up on this, the correct plug for mine is 270-159-06-00. Same price at the dealer as FCP.
Given all the threads about indexing and the different possibilities, a dealer receipt with my VIN seemed the best way to ensure the right part.
