Help me choose between 2 CPO E450s

Hey all!

Am stuck between 2 certified pre owned 2022 E450 sedans with the same options.

First one:
- 50,000km
- Windshield replaced due to rock chips
- Small front bumper scratch that will be touched up - don't know how it happened
- 3 tires replaced making the 4th tire have a different tread depth - don't know why they were replaced
- Doesn't have air body control
- Price: 60.5k CAD

Second one:
- 90,000km
- Has air body control
- Price: 57k CAD

Which one would be a better choice?

Thanks in advance!

I would pick the first one with lower miles/kms. 90000kms is quite excessive for a 3 year old car. Someone drove the crap out of that car. Windshield replacement is not an issue as long as it's done right and uses the correct glass. Tire tread diff is not really an issue unless it's significantly different. And if the 3 tires are fairly new, you could replace the one and then replace them all when the three are ready. I would also look at the service history and if one has some past issues I might stay away from that one. Good luck on your choice.

Check out all the threads with problems with cars with the air suspension. Buying a used car with air suspension: add many thousands of dollars into the cost for repairs and/or replacement

Agreed, first one and recommend replacing all tires anyways.

Get a PPI.

Number one for sure. Great car, I have 2023 with airmatic. Check that windshield is genuine mb with signature, otherwise your resale value is less. Air control is great, worth additional expense, but not at cost of so many more miles. Check carfax. Was there one accident related to windshield, tires and scratches? But not all accidents make it to carfax.

Thanks for all of your feedback!

The Carfax is clean for both cars.

You still need a PPI, carfax doesn't tell everything. In the US, you would want a VMI too but that is confidential in Canada.
