Atmospheric pressure-dependent full load stop ADA

Hello,

I have a OM605.911 manual transmission w124 E250D. I am working on it to fix small issues that it has and body work. While adjusting the idling i came across something called as Atmospheric pressure-dependent full load stop also referred as ADA in MB documentation. I am unable to find more info on it. I would like to understand
1. what it is?
2. purpose of it?
3. Is any adjustment/tuning is required on it
4. How to check if it working as expected

Any information on this topic would be appreciated

Wrong forum page, this is for the brand new W214 model not the 124.
