I know there have been at least a couple deliveries in August. How come nobody is posting pics of their cars? I get it, once you take delivery you want to drive it and spend less time on this forum. And some of you have had some frustrating issues. Still, it would be good to see some pictures. How about it @tomd, @CharlieZR, @carincattani, @rickmay99, @Phong, @DrBruce, @guku116, @estark, @Icebreaker, @lion007r, @Sakusveg, @yodogyodog, and @RoadrunnerHerm; I know you have a 2024+ E. When we going to see some pictures?

Well, the long wait finally came to an end for me. After ordering on April 17th and a build date of July 1st, my car finally arrived to my garage on August 28th. I originally ordered a 2024 E450 but on May 14th I was notified by my sales rep that MB moved the build to a 2025 model. They said all cars produced from July 1st onward would be a 2025.
Specs: 2025 E450W4 in Nautical Blue Metallic with Tonka Brown/Black Nappa Leather and 20" AMG Multi-spoke Wheels with Grey Accents
Packages: Pinnacle Trim, MBUX Superscreen Package, Driver Assist Package, Digital Light Package, Winter Package, Leather Package, Multi-contour Seating Package, Sun Protection Package, AIRMATIC Package, Advanced USB Package
Other Options: Rear Side Airbags, Heated Rear Seats, 3D Driver's Display, MANUFAKTUR Black DINAMICA Headliner, Brown open-pore maple wood center console with aluminum lines, Energizing Air Control, Soft-Close Doors, Load Sill Protector, All-Season Floor-mats
This was the OD when I took delivery. The 15 miles were done while driving on/off the ship and the dealer prep. No test drives were done on this car. It was hot as you can see. The blurry mileage readout is due to the 3D display. I should have turned it off but didn't realize it would be like that in a photo. It's pretty cool in person but you need two eyes to see the effect which is why cameras cannot show it.
Engine is the I6 Mild Hybrid. Very smooth and a significant difference from the I4 I drove for 4 months. Well worth the extra money to upgrade to this engine IMO.
Multi-Contour seats are amazing. I did not have them in the 2024 E350 I had and it's a night and day difference in comfort. The massage programs are over the top.
You can see the sun package shade on the right rear window. The rear window has an automatic shade. Nice addition for the rear seat passengers along with rear side air-bags and rear heated seats. It's a bummer that there is not rear zone AC in the US version of this car. I really like the all-season floor-mats and may keep them in all the time. Going to swap to the regular mats just to see how I like them for a bit.
Some exterior pics after a full day of washing and waxing. I'll get it ceramic coated in about a month from now but wanted to give it a good old fashioned carnauba wax and detail to get to know the car on a somewhat deeper level.
Those 20" AMG Muilti-Spoke wheels sure are pretty on this car. It came with Pirelli PZero PZ4 tires (non run-flats) size 245/40R20 99Y in front and 275/35R20 102Y in the rear.
Hope you liked the pictures. Please take them out if you quote my post so the thread isn't spammed with my photos.

@MJ50 - Can we get this thread setup as a sticky and remove the "Unofficial" part from the title? It would be nice to get the first sticky in the W214 board and not have to scroll down to see the picture thread.

Great pics and very much like your comments about the e450..I have a loaded one on order and do now have the VIN # but not sure what i can really do with that. i do have a question though for you. I believe your tires are summer tires.. Do you know if they have the PNCS written on them. That is the foam inserted to lessen the road noise. I have that on my current car so was just curious. The letters i believe stand for Pirelli Noise Cancellation System...

Thanks. They are summer tires and they are not foam filled or noise reducing tires. Though, I have heard that some cars get them. Not sure why tires are not the same from one car to the next. Maybe it's luck of the draw when tires are mounted on the wheels. In any case, I will consider noise reducing tires when it's time to replace them. I'm thinking of putting all season tires on for the winter which will be around early December time for me.

thanks I will check this out. In Nova Scotia we need dedicated winter tires and I have run flat Blizzacks which I had put on my rims for my current car which the dealer told me they would fit. If not I might get non run flat dedicated winter tires with a smaller wheel. I’m told I will get my new E around mid October. Looking forward to that.

Ideally, take this to another thread so this thread can focus on the pictures. I'm not the thread police but just trying to be a good citizen and keep these boards "clean".

It’s built/produced if you have a VIN. Now it’s a matter of waiting. My car was built over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t shipped. So I wanted to level set regarding delivery expectations. Patience is the key going forward.

Continental calls it ContiSilent. It is a tire noise-reducing technology developed by Continental. It is designed to reduce interior noise on all road surfaces. ContiSilent tires are equipped with an inner tire absorber, a polyurethane foam, attached to the inner surface of the tread area with an adhesive. Regardless of the temperature, the structure of the foam stays intact. ContiSilent helps reduce interior vehicle noise up to 9 dB(A), depending on the type of vehicle, its speed and the road surface. ContiSilent and other technologies apply to selected product range.

Since nobody is posting pictures of their new cars, I'll post another of mine. This time with it running and the daytime running lights on. You cannot really see the illuminated grille but at night, it's quite visible. I'll grab a picture of it in the dark one day and post.

About 2 weeks after I picked up the car, The automatic trunk operation developed a problem. The trunk would open about 1/2 inch and stop. I would manually lift the lid and then pressing either button nothing would hapen. I would have to manually close the trunk. The first time it happened I was nearby the dealer so I showed my service advisor, and he said make an appointment as they may need time to figure this out since it is new model. About a week and half later brought the car in, they kept if for 10 days and working with Germany, they were told to replace the power module which moves the trunk lid. When of the problems was it worked when they had the car in the shop but since the service advisor had seen the problem, they didn't just say nothing wrong. I picked the car up mid-day when it was ready, about 2 hours later I tried the trunk and same problem. So I went back to the dealer and this time showed the service director the issue. He said to bring it in in a few days as they didn't have loaners left that day. This time they had the car for 2 weeks, again it is working in the shop and Germany told them to replace the control module. Again, picked the car up and a few hours later went to open the trunk and again it didn't work. Again, I went back to the dealer, and they said they would contact Germany and then ask me to bring the car in. I drove out of the service area and now I have messages about certain features not working. Drove back in and they said don't take the car, gave me a E350 loaner. They again had the car for about 1 week, so now we are over 30 days that they had the car, original problem still there and they really have no idea what the cause is. They had the car in the shop for another 5 days and said it worked every time they tried it and there were no error codes. I then meet with the GM for the dealership and he worked with Mercedes to agree to replace the car. I told them I preferred to drive it rather than a loaner. They said they needed to update the SW for the error messages and then I could pick it up. When I went to pick it up, they washed it and parked it outside. They said the trunk was working fine. Before I drove out of service, I tried the trunk and of course it did not work.
They finally determined that it is a heat related problem and that they have never seen this and no idea what to do. I kept telling them that it would work in the morning before the car was exposed to the heat and sun during the day.
