Good Evening everyone. Need assistance with a display symbol that came up in my Driver Monitor behind the steering wheel while I was parked in the garage and talking with Mercedes on an issue. It was located above the symbol for the Blind Spot Monitor that shows green lines on left and right of the miniature car. It was a upside down triangle with a generic person inside it. The engine was running, This symbol was all WHITE. Cannot locate this display symbol in the manual. Have not seen it since. Happened yesterday.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Driver display as in the head-up display?

Upside down white triangle with a person in it? Pedestrian warning? Construction ahead?

Very interesting. Happened as Mercedes was trying to turn on my Digital Light Package remotely through their remote and using my Mercedes Me App. Didn't work so dealership has to pick up codes to unlock the option.

Thanks.

It’s supposedly the Pedestrian Detection System. In mine it only comes on when the “spotlight” function is turned on in the Digital Light menu.

If it’s grey, it’s enabled. Green is active.

That's it!!!!!!!..Great. No idea why it came on while I was parked in garage with garage door open as Mercedes M was trying to figure out the Digital Light not fully turned on. There was no pedestrian, but must had been triggered when they were fully around with my car remotely. Good to know.

I activated spotlight toggle but it won’t stay on after engine restarts.

Interesting... I wonder if the Park Pilot system is getting confused signals about vehicle speed... do you have any codes?
