I would have some stupid question as I can hardly believe that the car should work like this.
Connect to my iPhone as serving a hotspot is ridicules. It pops up to use a hotspot to have internet connection in the car and be able to use Spotify app but I have to reconnect every time when I start the car as it is forgetting the settings.What do you use for that to not waste the time to connect manually every time to the shared internet connection of the phone? Do you buy data package to the integrated modem of the car and use rather that?
Is there any way to have a step back in MBUX? I search for example to Metallica and start to play one of the find songs but there is no step back function to see again the list of the findings so I have to seach again to the word Metallica to see again the findings and choose another song to listen? Have you find any shortcut to that?
I am in the Uk and have activated a data plan that came with the car, this works really well for Music playback using Tidal. The plan is with Vodafone. Not sure if this helps but when I play using tidal if you press the album art playing it gets me to my own favorites and playlists etc. I found this not very obvious but now that I have it it works well.

The latest version of MBUX (third generation) unfortunately has some really poor changes compared to earlier versions. At least here in the USA. Satellite radio favorites is a disaster. They used to function well with the ability to scroll thru them easily, and would be combined with other radio favorites (FM for example) in one convenient place. Hopefully they fix that in an update.
Other issues:
1. Function favorites and the ability to bring them up with the star button on the steering wheel no longer exist. The new concept of “Routines” introduced in this version are very limited so cant replace the flexibility of “Favorites”.
2. Built-in streaming services and third party app download capability is not included and cant be purchased separately in the 2025 cars (I think the chip shortage excuse was used) which means that will never be an option unlike what is stated in the literature.
3. This is a 2025 GLC350e hybrid and the “automatic charging program by location” is not well done. It is not automatic and requires you to respond to a dialog box when you approach your location which is easily missed as it does not stay up long. It should just be automatic or bring up the dialog box when you shift to park.
4. The new icons that imitate iphone are not as elegant as the earlier MBUX version icons in my opinion.
Dont get me wrong. I love this car but I hate when they miss on really obvious stupid little things that they had right before.

Did you try the primary back button to the left of the home button? Im not near my car for some time to try for you.
