Comfort mode and regen braking
A few more reviews popped up recently about the E53 and they have complained about there is some D Auto regen braking in comfort mode that can't be disabled. It ties the braking to the adaptive cruise control and can make it very jerky and inconsistent.
I never noticed that on my short test drive but a few reviewers commented on this issue. Can anyone who has taken delivery comment on this behavior. I know it doesn't apply when the car is in sport mode but my wife prefers to drive in comfort only.
My car is scheduled to arrive next week and I am a little concerned about this braking trait especially with my wife driving.
