Stop Drive Recall Issued by MB for 17 2025 E-Class in the US
Mercedes-Benz has initiated a recall for a small set (17 vehicles total) of 2025 E-Class cars. It's severe enough to issue a "Do Not Drive Warning" for anyone with one of the affected cars. The below info was taken directly from the NHTSA web site. You should check your VIN. The recall indicates that it is limited to vehicles produced between Aug 12 and Sep 6th 2024.

Summary
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2025 E 350, E 350 4MATIC, E 450 4MATIC, and E450 4MATIC station wagon vehicles. The camber strut bracket may have been improperly welded onto the rear axle carrier, possibly resulting in separation of the bracket from the rear axle carrier.
Remedy
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been performed. Dealers will replace the rear axle carrier, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 16, 2025. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.

Yeah, I thought that was odd too. Maybe they contacted the owners in a different way. The do not drive directive is to shield them from legal liability if someone has an accident due to this issue.
