E53 dash cam app
I don't have the app for the dash cam. I sent the dealer a text and he told me I should be able to activate it in Settings and it would automatically populate the app. I don't see anything in settings that is related to the dash cam. Anyone else have this issue or know what I am missing?

I did it through the Mercedes Me app, clicking the car icon in the upper left corner takes you to a page that shows "Manage Digital Extras", there go to "Safety and Service", you'll find "Dashcam". Clicking this will take you where you need to go to activate it.

I have it. It's not that great. No where near as good as after market cameras. It's only forward facing and has no audio. Not having sound is not too big a deal but can come in handy if you have a traffic stop and want it. The bigger issue is no rear facing recording even though there is a rear camera. It is nice that it's integrated and clean from an installation perspective, but I may buy another camera at some point.
