MB Fast-Charger Adapter
Great news! We can now charge a Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle (EV) at a Tesla Supercharger station. However, this requires a special adapter. In addition to purchasing one at the dealership, does anyone know if Amazon sells the adapter we need? I found several options when I searched, but I'm unsure which one is the correct one. Thx

When getting electrical adapters, beware cheep ones found at online stores like Amazon. Subpar versions could cause issues or worse, fires. Lots of cheep junk out there with thousands of fake 5 star reviews.

My inquiries about charging my E53 Hybrid at different MB dealers have all been met with double talk excuses. I called MB support and after a long discussion I was told that only MB BEVs could be charged at Tesla Superchargers and that there was no information about when or if the MB Hybrids will be able to charge at non-Magic Dock Superchargers.

I successfully charged my 2023 EQS SUV using a CCS1-to-NACS adapter many times, even before Tesla charging was officially announced by MB in February 2025. I believe you will have to wait until 2026 MY for an MB with a native NACS port.

Since you started this thread in the W214 forum, I am assuming you are considering getting the adapter for an E53 Hybrid. I recommend postponing a purchase of an adapter until it's confirmed that the adapter works with the E53 Hybrid. I have tried using a genuine Tesla adapter at Superchargers and I have never succeeded after more than 10 attempts at different locations. The E53 Hybrid can be charged at Magic Dock Superchargers. The E53 is not one of the vehicle options in the Tesla app and choosing another MB vehicle in the Tesla app does not work.
