Unfortunately many sales reps do not know much about the cars they sell other than surface level stuff. I typically know more than the sales rep when I'm looking due to the research I put in before even contacting a dealership.

Thanks!
I use the interior assistant's gesture control to turn on my massage seats. When setting it up, it'll activate the last used massage. I prefer Wave so I made sure that was activated before setting up the gesture.

If I know I'll be driving longer than 30min, I always turn on seat kinetics and massage. I pretty much turn on the seat massage right after backing out of the garage. I should probably look into getting it coded on permanently. 😅

I see, I guess they thought since the car has the massage feature, no point mentioning the seat kinetics feature especially if it is a common option on base model A-Classes, it is just meant to keep you moving on the go, not meant to be considered as a massage at all.

Oh you can turn them on simultaneously, what do you like better, just massage or both? How and why do you like both on at the same time?

In regards to seat massage after getting in the vehicle, is there a Routine for that?

Fully agree, most aren't passionate about their job anymore, they are more interested in the pay cheque.

For long drives, I really appreciate having both active. The subtle movements of seat kinetics is great at reducing fatigue, and the massage is just the cherry on top working in tandem with it. Yes they can be activated simultaneously.

My GLE doesn't have routines but that makes me wonder if the newer MBUX would be able to automatically start my massage seats and seat kinetics based on driving habits. I've only heard about the routines but never looked into the full functionality of it.

I see, thanks for the tip, will try that next time (having both activated).

I see, when GLE gets MBUX 3.0, it will have Routines.

if I get the AT, later this year, I'm hoping by then the rear lip on e53 amg wagon is a simple add on.

It'd also be amazing if some after 3rd party software-based suspension mods and engine tuning will be available.

E53 wagon looks amazing but seems overkill. A slightly modded AT would be ultimate sleeper.

It is a fun experience though, the transmission also shifts more aggressive and quicker, it is a different car for different folks for sure.
