Sond Drive Configuration
Greetings: Now that I have the latest MBUX 3.2.2 update from the dealer, I have a question for this expert forum:
Audio Streaming is gone. Now, under Media, you see an option for Sound Drive. Clicking it allows you various options to listen to different genre of music once you click and downloads that theme or music. Am I assuming it is like streaming and using the doby/atmos as part of our audio system?
Apple Music App is gone as Mercedes is working with a new reconfiguration with Apple. Amazon as an app keeps saying-Try Again-Issue. Though both apps are in Apple Car Play and launch with no issue.
Any explanation of this new format with the latest updates are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your updates. I want to make sure I understand your post. I'm going in on Monday to get my Service A, and I was going to ask for the new E333.8 digital lights update. Did you get that update, and did it require you to update to MBUX 3.2.2?
I use Apple Music as my primary music source for Dolby Atmos mostly, and I do not want to lose that. For me, Apple Music appears more useful than the digital lights upgrade. Was any information given on when reconfiguration with Apple Music would be complete? Knowing MB, whatever they say should probably be multiplied by a factor of 10 in terms of timing!

Indeed, the update is 3.2.2 which finally gives us the Projection Digital Light and ready to use when USA implements the road signs on the ground in front of you at night. My system now welcomes me and gives me a farewell when operating headlights. Other minor updates.
As for music, the audio Streaming concept is gone replaced by Sound Drive and individual music applications that use Doby/Atmos system. From the Mercedes Store on your screen, you can choose which apps to download including the likes of Tidal and Amazon Music. Amazon is a problem launching as it states for phones other than iPhones. Still figuring that out. Will reach oiut to Mercedes Customer Service.

They are working on refreshing the Apple Music App with Apple for the MBUX and should be available again later in 2025. I waited one year for the projection lights. Indeed, 3.2.2 updates to the Projection lights and it does work. Other minor updates too. Audio Streaming as an app is gone and replaced with Sound Drive where you can choose many musical channel using Doby/Atmos. I also used Mercedes Store right on your MBUX Screen and downloaded Tidal which uses Doby/Atmos. Also downloaded Amazon Music but there are issues which I must talk with Mercedes Customer Service.
