I saw this listed (Genuine Spare Tire Kit for Q-8-40-9033 | MB Direct Parts) for the 2025 E450 and am wondering if this is a spare tire ...or an air compressor ...or tools for changing a spare tire, say you had one... or something else... anyone know? I would like an OEM spare tire. Thanks!

Agree. Just picked up one (for my GLA not my E) - spoke with their engineering staff to confirm fit since the website is not up to date for all the 2026 models yet - so far so good.

 

I have wheel, tire and bag from Modern Spare for my 2023 E 450. Had to use it once and worked great. MB OEM wheel might be better as the Modern spare one is a universal fit, so you have to rotate it to match your bolt holes. Minor issue

 

Just ordered - the GLE I traded for the wagon had a spare...need to carry this at least when we go out of town.

Good karma comes from having a spare in the car at all times. It wards off flats.
After a series of flats when my '18 E300 was new, I purchased a spare tire and tools.
For the past 7 years there have been no flat tires.
