I'm just trying to connect my Noco G3500 to the battery as I will leave the car standing for a few weeks. And I realize that, with the clamps in position, especially the one goes to the anode, I won't be able to close the hood. Am I supposed to leave it in this position?
That will work if you want to leave the hood up. I leave my hood up on my dually truck so I don’t forget to disconnect the trickle charger clamps and drive off.
You can also buy a pigtail that attaches to the battery terminals bolts, then the NOCO plugs into that pigtail. I did this on my wife’s 2023 SL55
