Dash Cam

Is there a problem with a dash cam regarding front window with th UV filter ?
It seems that my Dash cam isn't behaving properly (Moved from previous car to my new w214 E200 )
I have a Viofo 119 cam.

Also any recommendation for a front Dash cam will be appreciated.

If you're only interested in front, the digital extra dash cam is decent. Certainly not the best, nor the cheapest, but it does work and provide pretty good image quality.

and no wires, mount etc.
