@geektoad See, we agree 100%. For me, a really bothersome thing is someone saying "I am saving money at the pump" when buying a $100k+ car. More than that is the "I am saving the Earth" that many EV and PHEV owners spout.
I have seen the nickle mines in person. Seen the slave labor first hand...they are NOT friendly to the Earth or its inhabitants.

@yossarian1 Typical reponse by someone who has no valid point. As, in general there is no valid point that can contradict reality. Trying hard to NOT bring in politics. Again, you (nor anyone) can justify "saving money at the pump" in a $100k car, nor can anyone justify the "Eco Friendlieness" of these cars that are massivlely destructive to the earth. So, of course those with no valid options to retort...resort to sophomoric and apathetic attempts at an insult.
Is the gas savings at the pump akin to Sam Walton wearing Walmart jeans and shoes?
To that...to avoid filling the planet with "Smug" should people who are concerned about the price of gasoline at the pump be allowed to own boats, jetskis, aircraft and other fun toys? Seems hypocritical if they do.
