Car accident: should I go to dealership for repair?
My car was hit slightly by on the front right side. As I can see the damages includes scratches on the fender and the wheel. I don't think it's significant. he body shop (claimed to be local MB dealership certified, had good experience with them previously) I got a quote from said they would work on the bumper/grille/fender/pillar/rocker/floor/door, and they would check alignment and realign the wheels if needed, by a third party mechanic shop. Can I use them, or I should go through the dealership to avoid any warranty problems in the future?

A dealership is not your answer.

As said above, dealerships typically don't do body shop work. That's a different kind of business. You are definitely best off by using a Mercedes certified body shop to ensure the repair is done with genuine parts and in accordance with factory procedures, but you can just use the locator on mbusa.com. This will also tell you if the shop you've already been talking to is indeed certified.

Wheel repairs is also something that body shops don’t do. There are specialized shops for that. I’ve never had good luck with wheel repairs, though. Just doesn’t come out like factory condition and I’ve ended up replacing the wheels in the past.
