that’s what my parking camera arriving at home is doing too - if I don’t tap it does nothing

the cooling seat fires no matter what now that it’s 90F here, the parking just doesn’t unless I touch the screen, that is annoying but still easier than switching modes and opening the camera I guess

Well I was going to suggest a CA thing but stumpjumper is not in CA, correct? Very strange as this works as expected for me. Not sure why it would be different for some other than some stupid government regulation that restricted it. I have routines that start the cameras, start a massage, seat heat, seat ventilation, and ambient light changes that all start automatically. Triggers include location for the camera, temp for seat functions, time for ambient light, and drive time for massage. All work automatically unless I configure it not to. I'll do some tests to see if something does not start automatically once I get my car back from service. They are changing out my head unit to hopefully fix my USB media issue.

Good question.

Most Canadian automotive regulations follow the USA as well since at least we used to be allies maybe not just this time Trump but I am not going to go political so let's leave it there.

In the other forum member's case could it be a state specific regulation? I doubt it though since it is still within the same country, USA.

Point is Canadians and Americans travel across each other's borders often so having same or very similar regulations on cars is important.

That said, I was finally able to get the auto start cam to work, I deleted the routine and set the boundary of 60m. I still couldn't get the massage seat routine to auto start without tapping despite it being set to start automatically. So there is still that. I will keep trying. Nothing to lose.

Just to confirm, it is not possible to set a routine for passenger seat right?

Sorry to hear that. I did read about your usb media stopped issue on your other thread, I didn't comment because I didn't have any good suggestions to try plus Germany seems to be aware of the problem, the least I could do is just wish you luck and hope it gets resolved soon so you are back enjoying your car again.

Thanks for your help.

I have one set to enter car wash mode when arriving at my home because I need the mirrors folded in and the camera. My space is very tight and I hit the pass side mirror twice before this. I wish it was automatic instead of making me select in the monitor. Is there a way to make this an automatic operation instead of selectable?
