2006 Mercedes E55 AMG Quaife Diff, Evosport Rotors, Renntech Intake and more

Handling, stopping and breathing, three very important things for a Mercedes and three things that often don't get overlooked by the smart Mercedes owner. The owner of this E55 AMG knew that as well and came to us for some help in all three areas at once. We hooked him up with a Quaife Heavy Duty Limited Slip Differential (a must for almost all Mercedes and easily the most popular performance upgrade we see MB owners investing in), a new set of rotors and pads, and a Renntech air intake with additional Carbonio air inlet tubes to fully boost the car's ability to breath.

Parts Installed:
Quaife Limited Slip Differential- Heavy Duty
Renntech Carbon Fiber Airbox for V8 Kompressor- (M113 Engines)
Carbonio Carbon Fiber Air Inlet Tubes for Mercedes AMG E55 & CLS55 Models
Mercedes E Class W211 E55 and CLS Class W219 CLS 55 Evosport 2-piece Replacement Brake Rotors F + R
Porterfield Brake Pads

To the build!

Quaife Differential

Ah, the limited slip differential. This is an upgrade we here at GMP Performance are very familiar with as its improvement to a Mercedes is second to none. The Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential has many benefits over a standard open differential, including maximizing traction and minimizing wheel spin, eliminating torque steer and snatching in front wheel drive cars compared to conventional LSD units. We have had a lot of people install this in their car and so far, we have never had a customer go away unhappy.

Evosport Rotors and Porterfield Brake Pads

These rotors are direct replacement so there is absolutely nothing complicated about the job. Off with the old, on with the lighter, better breathing and cooling new.

Renntech Air Intake, Carbonio Air Inlets, and TTM Vents

This upgrade ended up not only being a plus for performance and power but also a plus in the looks department. Can't go wrong with carbon fiber.

Quick, easy and effective, these upgrades are just that: upgrades. They aren't meant to make the E55 something that its not. But they will make it that much smoother, stronger, better. And there's never any downsides to that.
