What is the level of difficulty to install this after removing the rear differential? Will it have to be proffessionally installed? Most of the shops in my area would hit me with the mercedes tax or I wouldn't trust them to install it anyways

It is a bolt in application. Some shaving down of the bell housing may be needed. We always recommend professional installation. We charge $95 an hour and this should take around 5-6 hours. Any European, exotic, or high end tuner shop should know how to do the install.
