Wanted: C230 M271 (1.8L) top end
I'm looking for the valve/cam/top end assembly from a C230. Engine M271, 1.8L supercharged I4.
It will be going into a 2003 coupe if that matters.
Had an 'issue' with mine and if my 3rd party warranty doesn't cover it I may replace it myself. I was told by Mercedes the timing chain jumped a tooth on startup (eh?) and the cylinder heads contacted the valves.
It ran but sounded like hell.
I'm right near Philadelphia if there is someone local (~150mi)
