FS: New M112K Evosport Phenolic Spacer kit
FS: New Evosport Phenolic Spacer kit for the M112K
$50 + shipping. I originally paid $149 + shipping from Evosport. Bottom line: they aren't worth $149.
This is a brand new (unopened) phenolic spacer kit for the M112K. As expected, these phenolic spacers will fit the C32 AMG, SLK32 AMG, and presumably the SRT-6.
These spacers are installed between the top charge air distributors (surge tanks) and the supercharger intake runners.
I have a set on my car right now and they definitely work.
Here's what I don't like about the Evosport kit as is:
The kit does not include spacers of equal side for the bolts on the other side of the fuel rail. DO NOT install these spacers without installing spacers on the other side of the fuel rail - Even if is in the form of washers! Some say it doesn't matter if you don't include spacers on the other side of the fuel rail. Respectfully, they are wrong.
This kit includes the phenolic spacers and the 4 required OE MB gaskets to go on the top and underside of each spacer. Do NOT reuse your old gaskets!
If I were to do it again, I would use the nice cork sealing gaskets from NeedsWings instead of the OE. That way you can be assured of not having boost leaks after installation of the spacers.
