2006 E55
FS: Renntech 168mm Pulley for 55K Engines
Original version installed new around October 2008. It replaced the fluid dampened version that RT seems to have discontinued. Approx 5000 miles on it until removed. Comes with an original, unused RT belt. It was on my 2006 E55. Im sure its the same pulley for the other V8K engines.
Asking $1000 shipped obo.
Thanks.

i never dynoed it, but I think its probably like 30 HP. I've returned the car to stock, so it's not replaced with anything but the stock pulley

What's the size of the pulley? Did you notice any hesitation or any problems with out having a tune?

hehe, I was going to make a smart *** comment, but decided against it.
The 168mm pulley isnt a huge increase like the 180mm, so running it without a tune should not be a problem since it adds a mild boost. Nice thing too was I never had any intercooler pump shut downs even after 4 back to back pulls on a dyno once.

not a dumb question, but I dont know how to answer that. I would check with whoever tuned your car to see what they think. Its a mild amount of boost increase, so it might be OK. Better verify first to make sure though.

Here's a good thread that talks a bit about pulley sized
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ies-tunes.html
larger diameter = more boost, more power, but more heat.
I never upgraded my cooling system with the renntech pulley, and it ran perfect.
