Hi guys - just got this in, direct fit on SL55 - I was told should fit into E55 motor as well. Was going to put them on my E55 but decided to keep it stock until my extended warranty runs out. Please contact me if interested. Thanks!

Note that instead of having threaded holes in the flanges where the cats bolt up, these headers simply have elongated slots. This means that to reinstall the stock catalyst pipes after these headers are mounted, you will need to come up with four nuts for the bolts to screw into, and have a way to hold the nuts in place while you're fastening the screws from below. Better shorties, like Evosport's, are a bit more precision made and come with exact fitting flanges that are threaded to accept the factory catalyst mounting bolts. Just sayin'.

Thanks for the insight komp55. Don't think the nuts are a big deal, although I haven't really fitted these into my E55. I guess we'll see if nobody buys these and I actually end up putting them on anyways. Don't think I'll wait 2 years to do so though.

pearlpower - what you see is what you get, no hardware included. No brand - custom made. As stated, originally fitted into an SL55 - I'm the second buyer and these were going into my E55.
