w203 c230 m111 supersprint header and OEM cat

I am selling this supereprint header for the 2002 2.3l M111 engine, OEM cat has started to break apart and rattles, I put the stock exhaust back on. I was going to send this to Jet Hot to get coated but need money for other projects. PM me with a reasonable offer as this is a discontinued item pd $1200 for it back in the day

I have some questions...Did you do anything custom to get this to fit the car? If the cat that is in place is turning into debris, we just need to put another cat on right?

Are all the welds good? How did you do with exhaust gaskets? Will the stock bolts be enought to hold this on? When you installed it, did you take over the oil collector manifold and the S/C?

I think you know I'm a good guy, I just want to make sure of some things.

Hey, if you go to sell the Kleeman Pulley, I can verify how well those puppies work. I have some 206k miles on my Kleemaned car. No issues.

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Wow, 1200 for a used header? Yikes!
I think for that price I'd have mine removed!

Ed,

This bolted right on with the stock manifold gasket (i think $30 or so from MB new) you have to take the belt off and the supercharger plenum (4-6 bolts and some bits) to put this in w/out "problems", "frustration", and bloody knuckles! There are 2 bolts that came with this for under the plenum but if you have the charger off, no issues with the factory ones. I can look for these but all they were instead of studs with nuts, you removed the studs and put these in.

This was welded to the stock cat to keep emissions good, but too many hits from speed bumps have broken the stock cat apart a bit, it can be cut and replaced/welded to any other stock cat (or have this gutted and put an inline cat in front or behind it)

all the welds are superb, as I did these myself with stainless wire (although it is a bit messy, no rust or leaks. You may want to replace the upper 2 bolts where they clamp on tho the downpipes (where it goes 4 to 2) there is no exhaust leak there IF you tighten them good after install but the allen bolts in my opinion need replaced. I liked this setup as it gave me far better gas mileage but need to sell this for my W126 SEC projects and it is a rare item that I thought would sell quickly.

C230, im not selling it for $1200, though wouldn't mind seeing that as that is merely what I paid for this setup 6 years ago, i think you said their tech dpt said they could be had new for less but that was a while ago. So up for reasonable offers under that!

as for the kleemann pully, I am selling my old slightly bent one that the Denver dealership tweaked when they did my alternator swap if anyone is interested, it works but is tweaked, i just happened to buy another one, i'll probably throw it on the ebay and see what i get.......
