I had a wild project in mind, but times change fast and money stack gets thin...
so, up for sale (really cheap) a completely assembled 5.0L engine with transmission from a 2000 mercedes S500. This is the M113 version.
It has approx 90k miles on it and comes with ecu, wiring and everything attached just as seen in the pics.
Engine: M113.960 5.0L V8 306HP
Transmission: 722.633
Price: $1400 for all
I can assist with loading it into a truck or van, but you will have to setup shipping if needed.

I've had the same visions of an MB motor in a vintage muscle car, or a kit car.
If I had more shop space I'd pick this up as a spare for my ml500.
