It's a unicorn.
They all break eventually and you can only replace the whole cover from mb.

You could always glue a trunk emblem on there. Many have had sucess with this.

The trunk emblem is 90mm though instead of 70mm which is the diameter of the engine cover star. Do you have any pictures of someone who has done this worth the wait? thx

I'm now in this club. Cleaning my engine bay the other day I touched that thing and I swear it exploded. I did a nice job of putting it back together...but I know it's banged up and that bugs me.
