These headers were only used for dyno testing, as you can tell from the pics the condition is nearly brand new. Your car should still pass emissions and should not throw any codes. As far as the sound, words cannot describe!! They sound stock at low to normal throttle, but when you step on the gas it sounds AMAZING!! This is the best bang for the buck for your AMG! The stock system is VERY restrictive and this really wakes the car up! Made for the E55 AMG (W211) & CLS55 AMG (C219) (not sure on other models)

+1 on the sound. I had them on my E55 (no cats) and it sounded amazing. No drone at all at low RPM's, but it screams at WOT.

I would think the actual headers would, probably the cats too, but you'd probably need to have a custom midpipe fabricated since these are meant for the E55/CLS55 chassis.

these bolt onto e55 stock mufflers? or am i mistaken?

I had FF headers & midpipe on my E55 and there was some welding involved because there was a gap bt the end of the midpipe and the stock exhaust. That said, it might fit with the cats without any welding.

@ Kingnash & Raffi I have no idea if these would work on an SL55, the headers and cats should fit, however the midsection 'may' need the brackets adjusted...

@ TonyC The system should bolt right up to your resonator, this was designed for the e55 specifically...
