FS: W211 AMG muffler quad tips
I decided to go with another muffler. I just bought it from another member, and haven't put it on yet. I will take some good pics later today. Thanks.
For sale is a pair of used W211 E55 AMG stock mufflers that have been MODIFIED internally ("gutted") to remove sound-deadening material for a much more aggressive tone.
He originally bought these from another MBWorld member in mid-2010 and they've served me well over ~5K miles. I removed the black paint on the tips and now they appear stock. Mufflers are in very good condition with all welds appearing intact and just a few small scuff marks on the bottom side of the tips (not easily visible when mounted on the car and they wouldn't easily show up on pics I've attached).
Here's a video clip of the mufflers on the original owner's car. They sounded the same on mine (with secondary cat and resonator delete):
My price is 470$ shipped. It is firm as I bought it for the same without putting it on.

So, wait, what's the difference from having these mufflers and straight pipes?
Don't get me wrong, other than the obvious like it looks stock, there is no muffler inside the boxes, it's just a big box with an inlet and an outlet, correct?

It appears stock looks as well as increases the sound with some modification (X-piping). That is all I know. I'm just a seller, who is trying to sell what I just bought because I recently don't want to put this on anymore. I am looking for something more aggressive than that.
